In any event, The Watchmen was a good and faithful adaptation of the graphic novels, and was also a pretty good movie all around. Not perfect, but it fit, the director "got it" and the acting was amazing ( Read more... )

About nine years ago when I was in school I was directed to (given my like of scary ghost stories, images and the like) the following production by the BBC called Ghostwatch. It predates Blair Witch by a few years, and is considered one of the first examples of subliminal mainstream ghost stories, which are done for creepiness rather than gore. ( Read more... )
